What is broken in relationship has to be healed in relationships = TBRI

Trust Based Relational Intervention

Royal Family KIDS Camps fosters resiliency, self-esteem, playful engagement, hope and positive memories. The camp curriculum, training and activities are woven through the modality of TBRI to ensure or children are experiencing truly life giving activities throughout a 5 day overnight camp.

“The overall effectiveness of Royal Family Kids Camps is that one week at camp can be as effective as a whole year of counseling” - Becca Johnson, Ph.D.

In order to help a child recover from abuse and neglect, intervention must go both deep and wide.

Five days of camp immersion goes deep and breaks barriers - our mentoring programs are meant to go wide. Research about the RFK mentoring program shows that students who participate are :

  • 59% more likely to earn better grades

  • 52% less likely to skip school

  • 81% more likely to participate in extracurricular activities

  • 90% more likely to volunteer themselves in their communities

  • 130% more likely to hold leadership positions

*Idaho is looking for a person with the heart and commitment to start our mentoring program. If this might be YOU, contact us and we will help fund and do the heavy lifting to get this off the ground!

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves…”

- Proverbs 31: 8

Not everyone can foster or adopt, but everyone can make a difference.

While RC appreciates the work that is being done by other organizations at a legislative level to protect children’s rights, the exclusive focus of our organization’s advocacy is aimed at educating and inspiring individuals around the world to take action within their local community.

With 20,000 volunteers across the globe, it is through personal relationships that we are able to share the work of FTC and serve the needs of these children.

If each of us were to answer the call to care for children in foster care, imagine how we could change their lives and our society as a whole. We sincerely hope you join us in advocating For the Children.

“A new command I give you; Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples.” - John 13: 34-35

What is CarePortal?

CarePortal is a technology platform connecting vulnerable children and families with people who have something to give. Social workers are trained to uncover high-impact needs. CarePortal makes local churches aware, giving their ministries and teams a real-time opportunity to respond.

Every request submitted and approved includes a specific goal such as preventing a child from entering foster care, reunifying a family, helping to make an adoptive placement, or supporting a youth as they age out of foster care. Responding churches can make direct connections with the families in need with the support and guidance of the caseworker.

Contact us if you are a church interested in enrolling. A local FTC/CarePortal expert will reach out to you to coordinate additional training and information.
